This 3-coin set commemorates the 100 year anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. These are the first coins ever issued by the U. Government depicting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The set was produced by the United States Mint and is certified as Proof. The year of production is 1986. EXCELLENT CONDITION Box has very minor wear as would any box of this age. Mint box and with a certificate of authenticity. The Silver dollar features the frontal view of the Statue of Liberty. On the half dollar is the New York skyline. Shown on the Silver dollar is Liberty’s torch and the half dollar features an immigrant family arriving at Ellis Island.
